Graduation Time

Happy May Everyone! The past few days have been a little stormy in our neck of the woods, haven't they?
But I sure enjoy a soft summer rain and even the sounds of an occasional good old fashioned Kansas thunder/lightening storm (as long as it's kind of off in the distance and the lightening doesn't strike too close). :)
This time of year has us busy, doesn't it? With Mother's Day, graduations and the beginning of the summer wedding season......not to mention that school will be out soon and all the kids will be home from school or college. Do you find yourself already thinking, "What are we going to do this summer?" I do. Somehow my 'to do' list is always longer than my 'done' list. It seems that I often find myself saying "Oh, I'll get to that (whatever it may be) this summer when I have more time". More time.....who am I kidding?
What will you all be doing for the summer?

This summer I want to:
1. get a little more organized- in the basement, craft room, etc
2. Have to paint the house trim, and touch up some siding
3. Visit the Julie and Kyle
4. Take a trip to California with Jeff
5. Study some Spanish
6. catch up on scrapbooking

And more will come along, I'm sure.

I always seem to have big plans for summer and most the time it seems that the summer gets away from me. I find myself usually a little bugged that I did not acomplish all I wanted to do sooo, this summer I am just planning on spending time with the kids and trying to enjoy every "I am bored" that they utter! Hopefully in between that I will be able to fit in a few projects and enjoy our family vacation too!

This summer I plan to:
1. Have the same schedule as my hubby
2. Buy a mother-of-the bride dress
3. Take a 2-week, 5-grad. credit hr. course
4. Join a Bible study group
5. Get Alex's supplies for the dorms
6. Catch up on cleaning
etc. etc. etc.

Pat's note is so true! I'm always adding more than gets subtracted.
